PWWG Adds Historic ExperienceApril 30, 2007
PWWG has been selected by the General Services Division of the State of West Virginia for the comprehensive rehabilitation of State Office Building #3, on the grounds of the Capitol Building in Charleston, WV. The building was designed by Cass Gilbert, Jr., and  was  first occupied in 1951. Gilbert's father designed the main Capitol Building, which was erected in the early 1930's. This will be the first major rehabilitation of Building #3 since its construction, and the intention is to introduce state-of-the-art systems while restoring the building to its original glory.

Expanding SouthApril 30, 2007
In conjunction with Calloway Johnson Moore West, located in Winston-Salem, NC, PWWG will be designing a new mixed-use hotel and condominium structure in downtown Asheville, NC. The hotel will be an Indigo Hotel, a new brand developed by the Intercontinental Hotels, and the condominiums are expected to be high-end luxury living in the growing downtown condominium market in Asheville. The project is estimated to be 12 stories and comprise about 100,000 SF.

Residential Project RestoredMarch 26, 2007
The Pennsylvania Housing Finance Agency (PHFA) has formally approved the continued design of Laurel Estates, a 54-unit public housing development in Fayette County. The design phase of the project is officially underway with the closing scheduled for October of 2007. Occupancy is expected in 2008.

New Staff MemberMarch 26, 2007
PWWG welcomes Pete Williams as the Assistant to the Director of Business Development. Before joining PWWG, Pete worked as a freelance writer and graphic designer, as well as being an adjunct professor at Duquesne University and Grove City College. Pete will assist Elmer Burger, Director of Business Development, in promoting and obtaining business opportunities for the firm.

PWWG Joins the Regional Investors CouncilJanuary 16, 2007
PWWG has become one of 10 new members of the Allegheny Conference's prestigious Regional Investors Council. The Council is a collection of over 200 regional businesses and organizations that provide input, expertise and resources to support the mission of the Allegheny Conference.
